Hedwig our 10 days pet.
I never preferred cats, and my type of people would understand why. I don't prefer them because its in their nature to just climb on things anywhere and everywhere, i don't feel hygienic or comfortable when that happens.
So, one day this random cat who is known to just roam around our neighborhood and eat food given to her by people but not make a permanent stay at someone's place, i guess she was an adventurous woman type.
But she had a high emotional attachment to our house, she has given birth 4 times till now but of course she took all the precautions, so she found a place on the roof safe and sound where no one could reach. But this last time she gave birth and never took her babies after they grew a little where as she used to take them before and on top of all she vanished for few days.
For the first few days we heard nothing no crying of the babies and we didn't see the cat so we thought may be she took them. And one sunday we could hear things crawling or running but still no crying. So, what my brother did was he started observing and whole day roaming around one area where the ceiling had a gap to check if their mother was back then she could peep and let us know and if not then we could do something about the babies.
And the thing which we were hoping to not to take place, happened. One of the kittens fell from the gap but thank God there was a table top below covered with a cloth and and we thought it would start crying but it was so terrified,it didn't make any kind of sound and just kept shivering with fear.
My brother held it and then kept it below the table where the kitten(grey and had some strips) thought it was safe from everything. At that point we thought the mother might have left this one kitten and we were talking about how cute and fluffy it was. My brother went to analyse the gap to see if any sound or movement he could hear of any other babies, as he said that and planned that we should arrange for a cloth that would help us catch if anymore fell and at that moment suddenly this small face popped and slipped. It was so tiny that he caught him with his single bare hand like he caught a snow ball (this one was white with spots).
Now lets check out the pictures!!!!!

* This is the day the white one fell from the ceiling as i told you above and we just simply got it a box for it to stay safe till the mother returned.
*This picture is also from the same day, as it ventured in the whole room just figuring out human life.
*Here my brother and me were just having conversation and it just stayed there listening and dozing off in every 10 minutes.
*Sorry about the picture, but you can make out the grey one in the picture and you can't see the white one, its because the mother is trying to fit in with it.
The above pictures were from the same day they fell, and thankfully the mother returned for them but we were doubtful about that. Anyways later she fed them, she took them one by one and we had no clue as to where.
The pictures below are from the time the kittens found their way back to our place after a month or so.
* This one was the first to visit us and surprisingly it remembered all the places it had first stayed and went to the exact space, i have no idea does a few days kitten remember so much!.
* As in the beginning i wrote cats crawling all over the space, but look at it sleep, so i let it be.
*This one just stayed for one day and vanished and i haven't seen it yet.
* This little guy came after the grey one vanished, some one had thrown water over it and it kept shivering and thanks to the sunny day helping it dry off soon.
* Look how confidently he is looking at people, vehicles on the road but he is actually not. The reason why he is even sitting near the fence outside is because he knows i am standing behind him.
I miss him though and i have never witnessed the journey of a baby cat into a adult one which was a good and a different experience for me and my brother too.
